Daily Equities Report – 30 Jul 2021
It was another day of losses in the market, though marginally. The gains made during the session, thanks to further export restrictions on Chinese fertiliser industry lifting up the fertiliser stocks, were given up in the last hour of the session.
At close, the Sensex was down 66 points(0.13%), at 52,587, and the Nifty slipped 16 points(0.10%), at 15,763.
Among the sectors, Nifty Pharma(3.63%) lead the chart followed by media(1.95%) and auto(0.92%) while, metals(-0.7%) and PSU banks(-0.32%) cooled off a bit after a week-long bullish run.
In CNX500, MAHLOG(11.4%) and SPARC(10.5%) gained the most whereas, SWANENERGY(-16.3%) and MOTILALOFS(-11%) were the top losers.
In Nifty50, SUNPHARMA(10%) and TECHM(7.1%) gained the most whereas, BAJFINANCE(-2.6%) and BAJFINANCE(-2.46%) were the top losers.
In the volume charts, KSB(44.5x) and ASAHIINDIA(32.4x) gained momentum whereas, SOLARINDS(14x) and MINDACORP(12.3x) witnessed the highest deliverable changes.
FIIs sold a net of Rs.3848cr worth of shares and DIIs bought a net of Rs.2956cr worth of shares.
