Daily Equities Report – 3 Jun 2021

The markets broke out from its flat movements of last two days and ended with healthy gains. At the close of the day, Sensex(0.74%) ended at 52232 and Nifty50(0.73% ) at 15690. The midcap and small cap indices of BSE touched their all-time highs during the session as well.
Nifty Realty(3.79%) and media(1.64%) were the top gainers while auto sector was unmoved and pharma(-0.26%) was the sole sector to end the day in red.
SPANDANA(20%) and PNBHOUSING(10%) were the top gainers while, MOTHERSUMI(-6.89%) and NH(-3.38%) were the top losers in the CNX500.
Among the Nifty50 stocks, TITAN(6.83%) and ONGC(5%) gained the most whereas INDUSIND(-2.15%) and WIPRO(-0.74%) were the top losers.
In the volume charts, SPANDANA(35.3x) and CREDITACC(24.4x) saw sky-high volumes along with highest deliverable change of 19x and 11.5x respectively.
There was a significant ~50% less activity of FII trades in the day. They bought a net of Rs.1079cr worth of securities whereas DIIs sold, first after five sessions, a net of Rs.278cr worth of securities.
