Daily Derivatives Report – 1 Jun 2021
In the derivatives segment, Nifty June 2021 futures closed at 15623, at a premium of 48 points over spot closing of 15574.
In the futures of June series, ADANIENT and ALKEM were the top gainers whereas SAIL and CUB were at the bottom of the list.
ALKEM also witnessed the highest long build-up, closely followed by ONGC whereas SAIL and ASHOKLEY were shorted the most. Traders exercised caution and covered positions in DIVISLAB and ZEEL. Positions in PNB and BANKBARODA were unwinded the most
Among the stock options, highest additions were seen at 2100(PE)/2100(CE) levels of RELIANCE and at 440(CE)/420(CE) levels of SBIN.
Highest OI addition in the index options was seen at 16000(CE) and 15600(CE) levels and most reductions at 14500(PE) and 15400(CE) levels of Nifty.
In the market-wide position limits, BANKBARODA and DIVISLAB were the top gainers whereas ALKEM and ONGC were the top losers.
BANKBARODA, PNB and SUNTV were the new additions to the FNO Ban list.
FIIs were the net buyers of Rs.413 cr and Rs.214 cr worth of index and stock futures respectively whereas, they sold a net of Rs.1873 cr and Rs.314 cr worth of index and stock option contracts.
