Daily Derivatives Report – 27 May 2021
In the derivatives segment, Nifty June Futures ended the day at 15339(0.24%), as the spot market ended the day at record high.
PNB(7%) and PEL(6.7%) were the top gainers whereas CUMMINSIND(-4.6%) and MANAPPURAM(-4%) were at the bottom of the list.
Highest covering was seen in PETRONET(-71.3%) and TECHM(-69.7%) whereas traders unwinded out of their positions in CUMMINSIND(-69.7%) and ADANIPORTS(-61.2%).
In the index options, highest OI additions were made at 15300(PE) and 14000(CE) levels whereas most reductions were made at 14100(PE) and 13700(PE) of Nifty.
Among the stock options, Reliance, SBIN and TATASTEEL were the most active. Most additions and reductions in OI were at 2000(CE)/1880(PE) of Reliance, 430(CE)/420(CE) of SBIN and 1100(CE)/1180(CE) of TATASTEEL.
NAVINFLUOR and VOLTAS were the gainers in the market-wide position limits whereas PAGEIND and PNB took the bottom spots.
CANBK and AMARAJABAT were added in the FNO Ban list of the day.
Continuing their buying streak in index futures and options, FIIs bought a net of Rs.2636 cr and Rs.4356 cr worth of contracts.
Among the stocks contracts, FIIs sold a net of Rs.279 cr worth of futures(net sellers for 7th consecutive session) and bought a net of Rs.1101 cr of options.
