Daily Equities Report – 10 Jun 2021
Contrasting to yesterday’s sudden sell-off pressure, it was a healthy gap-up opening today that eventually recovered yesterday’s losses. At close, the Sensex was up 359 points(0.69%), at 52,300 and the Nifty was up 102 points(0.65%), at 15,738.
Unlike yesterday, all the sectors ended the day in green lead by media(4.64%) and realty(3.34%), except auto sector(-0.11%) post May auto retail figures were released which showed a sharp decline in units sold.
In the CNX500, NETWORK18 and ALOKINDS hit the 20% upper circuit while, CERA(-3.3%) and SUNCLAYLTD(-3.25%) were the top losers.
In the Nifty50, the Bajaj twins made a comeback as BAJFINANCE(7.67%) and BAJAJFINSV(3.82%) were the top gainers while BAJAJ-AUTO(-0.96%) and EICHERMOT(-0.73%) were the top losers.
In the volume charts, HATSUN(30x) and BATAINDIA(10.8x) garnered most interest. Also, HATSUN(13.5x) lead the deliverable change list, followed by JSLHISAR(6.97x).
The DIIs sold a net of Rs.575cr worth of shares, third straight day of net selling. On the other hand, FIIs bought a net of Rs.1329cr worth of securities.
