Daily Equities Report – 14 Jun 2021
In what appeared like another breakdown from previous week’s record close, the markets managed to recover the early hours loss to end the day marginally in green. At the end of the day, Sensex closed at 52492(0.11%) and Nifty50 at 15791(0.08%).
Among the sectors, Nifty Metal(-0.65%) and realty(-1.52%) took the backseat along with finance peers as PSU Banks(0.58%) and energy(0.51%) sector lead the recovery.
In the CNX500, FDC(13%) and FRETAIL(10%) gained the most whereas BHEL(-11.5%) and ADANIPORTS(-8.5%) were the top losers.
In Nifty50, DIVISLAB(1.46%) and TATAMOTORS(1.45%) gained the most while, ADANIPORTS(-9.26%) and COALINDIA(-2.12%) were the top losers.
In the volume charts, companies of Adani group occupied the highest and lowest 10-day volume changes as traders and investors seemed panicked at analysts’ call on companies of Adani group.
ZENSARTECH(97.9x) and FDC(39.3x) saw highest volume changes as well as deliverable changes of a whopping 156 times and 9.2x times on a day-to-day basis along with TTKPRESTIG, that saw a 12.6x surge in deliverables.
The DIIs continued buying as they lapped up another Rs.544cr worth of shares and FIIs sold a net of Rs.503cr during the day.
