Daily Equities Report – 22 Jul 2021

Taking cues from the global markets, especially from the strong earnings reported in US companies, the benchmark indices in India gained significantly. Thus, ending the 3-day losing streak.
At close, the Sensex was up 639 points(1.22%) at 52,837 and the Nifty was up 192 points (1.23%), at 15,824.
Among the sectors, Nifty metal(3%) and IT(1.8%) contributed the most to the gains. No sectors ended the day with losses.
In CNX500, JSL(18.75%) and JSLHISAR(15.25) gained the most whereas, VENKEYS(-7.5%) and BSE(-6.5%) were the top losers.
In Nifty50, JSWSTEEL(5.9%) and TECHM(5.4%) gained the most while, the top losers were HINDUNILVR(-2.34%) and ASIANPAINT(-1.8%).
In the volume charts, SCHAEFFLER(61.2x) and JUBLFOOD(15.8x) attracted the investors and traders the most. SCHAEFFLER(75.6x) and IDFC(15.4x) gained the most in terms of deliverable changes.
FIIs were again the net sellers as they sold a net of Rs.247cr worth of shares whereas, DIIs bought a net of Rs.942cr worth of shares.
