Daily Equities Report – 25 Jun 2021
Riding on yesterday’s strong upward movement, the markets were able to sustain the gains and trend further upwards.
At close, the Sensex was up 226 points(0.43%) at 52925, and the Nifty was up 70 points(0.44%), at 15860, its second highest daily close.
Among the sectors, PSU Banks lead the market with a 2.64% uptick followed by metals(2.6%) while FMCG(-0.65%) and energy(-0.6%) were the laggards..
In CNX500, SHOPERSTOP(15.9%) and IDEA(11%) gained the most while CRISIL(-5.6%) and ATGL(-5%) were the top losers.
In Nifty50, TATASTEEL(4.7%) and AXISBANK(3%) gained the most while RELIANCE(-2.3%) and HINDUNILVR(-1.7%) were the top losers.
SHOPERSTOP (55.7x) and SWSOLAR(9.3x) were the volume chart toppers and the two were also saw the highest deliverable changes in the day.
In the capital market segment, FIIs were the net sellers of Rs.678cr worth of shares whereas DIIs bought a net of Rs.1832cr worth of shares.
