Daily Equities Report – 30 Jun 2021

It was another day with a gap-up opening that went on to move higher and ultimately erased all the gains to end the day in the negative zone for the third straight session. At close, the Sensex was down 67 points(0.13%) at 52483, and the Nifty was down 27 points(0.17%) at 15722.
Among the sectors, IT was the only one to end the day with gains(0.63%) while media(-0.8%) and bank(-0.7%) dragged the indices down the most.
In Nifty50, COALINDIA(1.28%) and RELIANCE(1.16%) gained the most whereas SHREECEM(-1.9%) and BAJAJFINSV(-1.82%) were the top losers.
In CNX500, UFLEX(19%) and BHARATRAS(12.6%) topped the charts while AFFLE, ATGL and ADANITRANS were stuck at the 5% lower circuit.
In the volume charts, UFLEX(42.2x) and LAOPALA(37.2x) saw steep spikes whereas, STARCEMENT(25.8x) and BHARATRAS(15.9x) were among  the top in the deliverable changes list.
In the capital market segment, FIIs sold, fourth time in the last five sessions, a net of Rs.1646cr worth of shares and DIIs bought a net, 10th straight session, of Rs.1520cr worth of shares.
