Daily Equities Report – 6 Jul 2021

Sensex touched an all-time high of 53129 but the gains were erased as the benchmark indices closed marginally lower.
At close, the Sensex ended lower by 19 points(0.04%) at 52861, and the Nifty was down 16 points(0.10%) at 15818.
All the financial indices except PSU banks(-1.26%) gained 1% each. Auto(-1.74%), PSU banks and IT(-1%) dragged the market down.
In CNX500, JKLAKSHMI(8.6%) and AUBANK(8.1%) gained the most whereas TATAMOTORS(-8.4%), TATAMTRDVR(-5.3%) and JBCHEPHARM(-5.4%) were the top losers.
In Nifty50, highest gainers were ULTRACEMCO(3.2%) and SHREECEM(3%) while TATAMOTORS(-8.5%) and TECHM(-2.3%) were the top losers.
In the volume charts, SUZLON(59x) and NESCO(58.6x) gained the most attention from the traders while highest deliverable change was seen in CHOLAHLDNG(15.5x) and SUZLON(24x).
Among the institutional investors, a net of Rs.543cr worth of shares were sold by FIIs and a net of Rs.521cr was bought by DIIs.
