Key Market Updates
- Nifty 50 top gainers: Axis Bank (9.83%), Divi’s Lab (9.39%), Tech Mahindra (7.13%), SBI (6.78%), Hero MotoCorp (6.6%).
- The Nifty Midcap 150 Index registered a rise of 3.71%, while Nifty Small cap 250 Index rose by 4.30%, during the week.
- HCL Tech FY24 results: Revenue at ₹1,09,913 crore, growing 8.3%.
Net Income (NI) for the year came in at ₹15,702 crore, up 5.7%. - Bajaj Finance FY24: Revenue surged by 32.76% to ₹54,988.80Cr, while net profits soared by 25.58% to ₹14,451.17Cr for Bajaj Finance Ltd.
- Reliance Industries FY24: Revenue surged by 3.07% to ₹9,17,508Cr, while net profits jumped by 4.38% to ₹69,621Cr.
- HUL FY24: Revenue for Hindustan Unilever Ltd surged by 2.64% to ₹62,785Cr, while net profits jumped by 1.55% to ₹10,277Cr.
- Maruti FY24: Revenue surged by 21.2% to ₹1,45,967.80Cr, while net profits jumped by 63.42% to ₹13,470.30Cr.
Startup, M&A Deals
- Networking tech startup CloudExtel raised Rs 200 crore ($24 million approx) from NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited and Aditya Birla Finance Limited.
- EV aggregator LetsTransport raised $22 million from Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), Rebright Partners, NB Ventures, ALES Global, Stride Ventures, and CAC Capital.
- NBFC Northern Arc raised $80 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
- Sustainability startup Accacia raised $6.5 million from Illuminate Financial, AC Ventures, Accel, and B Capital.
- Agri finance company Samunnati raised $5 million from Enabling Qapital.
- Fashion retailer Lyskraft raised $26 million from Peak XV Partners, Prosus, Sofina, and Partners of DST Global along with other startup founders.
