Nifty Futures of June 24 expiry gained 1.56% over the week to close at 15791 over the spot closing of 15860.
Among the stock futures, BEL and GMRINFRA gained the most while AARTIIND and MGL were the top losers.
The most long build-up was seen in GUJGASLTD(31.23%) and GMRINFRA(15.86%) while FINNIFTY(253.23%) and Bank Nifty(227%) were shorted the most alongside LICHSGFIN(18.9%) and POWERGRID(5.86%).
In terms of market-wide position limits, HDFCLIFE(40.2%) and PIDILITIND(37.9%) gained the most while GUJGASLTD and GMRINFRA were the top losers.
In the index derivatives segment, FIIs pumped in a net of Rs.1485cr in futures and Rs.2737cr in options.
In the stocks derivatives segment, FIIs bought a net of Rs.235cr of futures and Rs.1434cr in option contracts.
