Daily Derivatives Report – 14 Jul 2021

Nifty July 2021 futures closed at 15858, at a premium of 4 points over spot closing of 15854.
Among the stock futures of the current series, MINDTREE and MPHASIS gained the most whereas IBULHSGFIN and GMRINFRA were the top losers.
Long build up was seen the most in MINDTREE(103%) and LTTS(26.25%) whereas short build up was seen in IBULHSGFIN(23.4%) and MARUTI(12.6%).
Positions in GRANULES(-6.5%) and MANAPPURAM(-5.5%) were covered the most whereas most unwinding was seen in TRENT(-10.9%) and NMDC(-4.6%).
In the index options segment, most OI additions were seen at 15800(PE) and 15850(PE) levels whereas most reductions were seen in 15800(CE) and 16200(CE) levels of Nifty.
Among the most active stock options, MINDTREE and INFY, most OI additions were made at 2800(CE) and 1600(CE) levels while most reductions were made at 2600(CE) and 1560(CE) levels.
TRENT and GRANULES gained the most in terms of  market-wide position limits while, MINDTREE and IBULHSGFIN were the top losers.
GRANULES, IDEA, NATIONALUM, NMDC, PNB, SAIL and SUNTV were in the FNO Ban list of the day.
In the index derivatives segment, FIIs bought a net of Rs.278cr was and Rs.100cr of futures and options respectively. In stock derivatives segment, a net of Rs.45cr worth of futures was bought and Rs.221cr of worth options were sold.
