Daily Equities Report – 13 Jul 2021

On back of positive cues from global markets, the benchmark indices ended the day in green after three straight sessions of losses. Sensex ended the day at 52770 after gaining 397 points(0.76%) and the Nifty50 gained 120 points(0.76%) to end the session at 15812.
Among the sectors, financial indices dominated as Nifty FinServ(1.48%) and Private bank(1.38%) topped the chart whereas media(-0.59%),IT(-0.32%) and FMCG(-0.18%) were the only ones to end the day with losses.
In CNX500, CDSL(15.8%) and BSE(10.7%) gained the most whereas EQUITAS(-7.1%) and VAKRANGEE(-6.2%) were the top losers.
In Nifty50, ICICIBANK(2.75%) and GRASIM(2.66%) were the top gainers while ADANIPORTS(-1.9%) and DRREDDY(-1%) tanked the most.
KALPATPOWR(36.7x) and VMART(19.2x) witnessed the highest volume spurt whereas highest deliverable change was seen in ABFRL(12.2x) and MINDACORP(8.1x).
FIIs were the net buyers today of Rs.113cr worth of shares while DIIs bought a net of Rs.344cr worth of shares.
