Daily Derivatives Report – 25 May 2021
In the derivatives segment, Nifty May Futures closed at 15233.00 (LTP) on Tuesday, at a premium of 24.55 points over the spot closing of 15208.45.
Among the top gainers, CONCOR and COLPAL topped the list whereas AMARAJABAT and BEL were the top losers.
Among the most stock futures with highest covering were MFSL(-48.7%) and COLPAL(-45.7%) whereas traders winded out of their positions in SAIL(-42.5%) and ALKEM(-39.4%). FINNIFTY(27%) and BANKNIFTY(15%) were shorted the most.
In the index options segment, highest additions were made at 15200(PE) and 15300(CE) levels whereas highest reductions were seen at 15000(PE) and 14500(PE) levels of Nifty.
Among the stock options, SBIN and TATASTEEL witnessed highest additions and reductions at 450(PE)/450(CE) and 1120(CE)/1100(CE) respectively.
BRITANNIA and TRENT were the top market-wide position gainers whereas AMARAJABAT and CUMMINSIND were among the top losers.
BHEL, CANBK and PNB were included in the FNO Ban list for the day.
FIIs bought a net of Rs.1476 cr and Rs.2185 cr worth of index futures and options respectively whereas, they were the net sellers of Rs.1959 cr worth of stock futures and Rs.352 cr worth of stock options.
