Daily Derivatives Report – 7 Jun 2021
Nifty June 2021 futures closed at 15781(0.51%), at a premium of 30 points over spot closing of 15751.
The top gainers of the current series for the day are IRCTC and TORNTPOWER, followed by a bunch of other power companies. NMDC and IBULHSGFIN were the top losers.
The highest OI build-up was seen in the top gainers IRCTC(108%) and TORNTPOWER(48.7%) whereas MRF(79.5%) and NMDC(25.2%) were shorted the most.
Positions in LTTS(-9.3%) and MINDTREE(-7.68%) were covered the most while, traders got out of their positions in last week’s star performer IBULHSGFIN(-18.3%).
In the options segment, highest OI additions were seen at 15700(PE) and 15000(PE) levels whereas most reductions were made at 15700(CE) and 14700PE) levels of Nifty, all signalling towards the bullish sentiments for the coming days.
Among the most active stock options, highest OI additions and reductions were seen at 2000(PE)/2200(CE) levels of RELIANCE, 900(CE)/850(CE) levels of ADANIPORTS and 370(CE)/330(CE) levels of TATAMOTORS.
IBULHSGFIN and LTTS were the top gainers in the market-wide positions limits whereas IRCTC and MRF were the top losers.
IBULHSGFIN, PNB, SAIL and SUNTV were the new additions to the FNO Ban list of the day.
FIIs were the net buyers of Rs.515cr and Rs.2563cr worth of futures and options contracts respectively in the index segment. While they sold a net of Rs.753cr of stock futures and bought a net of Rs.0.31cr worth of stock options.
