Daily Equities Report – 2 Jul 2021

The week ended on a green note after having four straight sessions of losses as Sensex gained 166 points(0.32%) to end at 52,484, and the Nifty gained 42 points(0.27%), to close at 15,722.
Among the sectors, Nifty pharma(0.6%), realty(0.53%) and media(0.58%) gained over half a percent whereas metal(-1.5%) slipped the most.
In CNX500, ROUTE(18.75%) and INDOCO(13.4%) rose sharply while ADANIGREEN, Transmission and Total Gas lost 5% each.
In Nifty50, DIVISLAB(2%) and RELIANCE(1.6%) gained the most while steel giants TATASTEEL(-2.2%) and JSWSTEEL(-1.24%) were the top losers.
In the volume charts, INDOCO(31x) and VINATIORGA(20.2x) saw steep spikes whereas in the deliverables change, SOBHA(14.3x) and TATACHEM(14x) was lapped up the most.
In the capital market segment, DIIs continued their buying spree for the 12th straight session as they bought another Rs.931cr worth of shares whereas FIIs sold a net of Rs.982cr worth of shares.
