Daily Equities Report – 26 May 2021
The day started exactly like the last two sessions, as gains from a gap up opening was wiped out but eventually took off ended in green. Sensex added 379 points to close at 51,017 while Nifty 50 ended the day at 15,301.
Nifty realty(2.8%) and media(1.8%) topped the charts as the steam of banks and finserv has cooled off a bit.
INDOCO(17.49%) and LUXIND(17.47%) gained the most whereas VAKRANGEE(-4.98%) and POLYPLEX(-4.88%) were the top losers in the CNX500 list.
In the Nifty50, BAJAJFINSV(4.61%) and BAJFINANCE(2.67%) gained the most. POWERGRID(-3%) and HINDALCO(-2.51%) were the top losers.
In the volume charts, TRITURBINE(28.9x) and SONATSOFT(25.8x) were the toppers.
TRITURBINE(35.8x) and MAHSCOOTER(12.98x) saw the highest change in deliverable quantities.
FIIs bought a net of Rs.241 cr and DIIs sold a net of Rs.438 cr worth of shares in the session
