Weekly Derivatives Report – 14 May 2021
Nifty Index Futures closed 1% lower at 14717.
In the Futures of May series, GODREJCP(20.9%) and UPL(18.2%) were the top gainers whereas, SAIL(-12.4%) and JINDALSTEL(-12.4%) were the top losers.
COFORGE(371%) and AARTIIND(126%) saw the highest build-up. FINNIFTY(-37.08%) and TCS(-14.4%) were among the most covered. SRF(131.5%) and NAVINFLUOR(87.8%) saw the highest spikes in shorting this week. And traders unwinded the most out of AMBUJACEM(6.26%),
SIEMENS(3.94%) and BAJFINANCE(2.79%).
Coming to the market-wide position limits, TCS(15.21%) and SUNTV(13.06%) gained the most whereas COFORGE(78.5%) and AARTIIND(57.95%) were amongst the top losers.
In the index futures, FIIs sold a net of Rs.2472.74cr and bought a net of Rs.14278.02cr in index options.
In the stock futures, FIIs sold a net of Rs.6145.96cr and sold a net of Rs.573.42cr
