Daily Derivatives Report – 9 Jul 2021
Nifty July 2021 futures closed at 15721, at a premium of 31.20 points over spot closing of 15689.80.
Among the stock futures of the current series, GRANULES and AUBANK gained the most whereas COFORGE and TRENT were the top losers.
Long build up was seen in BAJAJFINSV(40.4%) and MPHASIS(38.9%) while short build up was seen the most in BAJAJ-AUTO(11.5%) and EICHERMOT(10.8%). Positions in GUJGASLTD(-7.7%) and RAMCOCEM(-5.1%) were covered the most whereas COFORGE(-8%) and NAM-INDIA(-4.4%) were unwinded the most from.
In the index options segment, most OI additions were made at 15700(CE) and 15700(PE) levels whereas, most OI reductions were made at 15800(PE) and 15750(PE) levels of Nifty.
Among the most active stock options, TCS and TATASTEEL, most OI additions were made at 3300(CE) and 1200(PE) levels while most reductions were seen at 3000(PE) and 1220(CE) levels respectively.
COFORGE and GUJGASLTD gained the most in terms of market-wide positions whereas BAJAJFIN and MPHASIS were the top losers in that regard.
IBULHSGFIN, NATIONALUM, NMDC, PNB and SAIL were in the FNO Ban list of the day.
In the index derivatives segment, FIIs sold a net of Rs.449cr of futures and bought a net of Rs.7258cr of option contracts. In the stock derivatives segment, a net of Rs.77cr of futures and Rs.273cr of option contracts were sold.
